Restrictions Lifted

youtube.com/watch

So all restrictions are going to be lifted from Monday the 19th August here in the UK. Sooty has said he’ll now return home and wanted to do yet another Finale. Oh well, who am I to refuse a little bear? I’m not sure this is particularly suitable for children so, I’ll give it. PG 😂

  1. As down and dirty and funny as ever! Thanks for sharing. I have to say, the ending was almost … dark!

    NO! SOOTY! DON’T GO!

Sooty is like the bear version of Benny Hill. He will be missed. Did he injure you?

I thought your restrictions were to be lifted July 19?

Awww no, don’t go home Sooty! It’s not normal out there yet. By the time you’re back home (which I imagine takes a while longer for someone of your tiny stature) there’ll be another lockdown.

Lots of people like to gobble. Nowt wrong with that 😉 I also think big bushes are back in fashion these days.

Thanks for the giggles, you cheeky pair!

    Are you OK, Charlie?
Did that naughty Sooty spike you with his letter opener?
Hahah… stay cool my man. Restrictions off, but covid is still there… 😉 😉

  5. He’d have been better off with secateurs than a letter opener if he has pruning to do at home. Has nobody ever told him you need the right tool for the job? I thought the football was the funniest bit. Does this make me as morally questionable as you? 🙂

Not the same in Scotland however. My daughter works in a pub in Edinburgh. She’s expecting an influx of English tourists who think they’ll be allowed to go maskless haha…they won’t!

    • No, I realised yesterday that we’ll have to take masks, but it’s a small price to pay if it keeps others safe or at least gives them peace of mind

Yeah my daughter and I were discussing it. I’ve been wearing a mask at work for about a year now. We’ll be continuing to do that in public buildings and in the winter whilst going from my car to the flat!

      • I think it works to a degree, I haven’t had even a cold since last February, but that’s also because people are washing their hands too

That’s questionable! Haha. If you were in my line of work you’d know that there are a lot of folk who never wash theirs. It turns out I had covid Jan 2020. Before that I hadn’t had as much as a sniffle for 7 years, nor have I been ill since. p.s. I always wash my hands 🤲

      • Same here, work wise, when I was teaching in the carpentry workshop I’d wash my hands about 10 times in one lesson. Young boys/men don’t, generally, wash their hands and you have probably seen where their hands keep drifting. With those joggers they wear!!
“Do you want your pen back, Charlie?”
“Naw, you’re alright, keep it!” Haha.

Haha! Exactly. It’s old men with their money in their pockets who are the worst. One guy took out the cash…along with a paper hanky. Nice…thanks but erm…sanitiser.
