Naw, only joking. Unless of course we believe all this will be over by June 21st. But, as everyone has been wrong, about everything, since last March, I don’t think I will hold my breath 😂 Apparently I no longer have Achilles Tendonitis, good news. I have Haglund’s Syndrome, bad news, they like to call it Haglunds Deformity. I prefer Syndrome. 😉 It’s a bone growth thing, on the heel. So I’m having physiotherapy.

Initially he puts little pads on the heel and then electrocutes me. It’s kinda fun watching my big toe dance, but I can’t recommend the rest of it. Then comes the massage, this is no fun at all, but in a good cause.

So, no running, no walking but cycling is good. Although I’m not a cycling fan I have set a target of 600 kilometres a month. I’ve also done a home, strength training plan and stopped drinking (since Jan 31st) I did say I was joking about the good news, but I’ve lost 10 kilograms, that’s about 1.5 stone. Which means the lockdown shelf has nearly gone 😉 When you think about it there’s always a positive somewhere. Take care, my friends, we’re nearly there x
Nearly there Charlie! Hang in there. Glad you are trying biking and will persevere with your positive attitude as usual!

Hmmm…a TENS unit or a STEM unit. Good for healing. I’ve had that a lot for my knee surgeries and for healing after a chiro adjustment.
Those painful massages…yeah. You’ve got adhesions and they are tough to deal with. I hope you heal soon.

Yeah, that’s what it is. He turns it up until you can’t stand it then as it settles down turns it more? I guess it helped your knees?
Thank you, we’ll have to wait and see I guess 🤔😁

Well done on the weight loss – it’s something I will have to address soon. As Julia said, when referring to the elephant in the room, it’s getting difficult to tell which is which…

Julia has some sense of humour. 😉 I’m now eating protein like it’s going out of fashion to try and get it back haha. Apparently men of a certain age stop making muscle and make fat. I guess that’s linked to the hair falling from my head and growing out of my ears hahaha

I think I reached that age…

My husband has one of those strange medical things on his finger – Viking’s Finger. It has been operated on with no success… On the contrary I had an operation on my Achilles Tendon and after many months of physiotherapy it recovered completely. Good luck!
