No, not the band from the naughties with the caped screaming singer.
The darkness within your soul or whatever you choose to call it. The one that crawls out of the night, usually around 3:30 – 4:30 am. What’s that shit all about? And it’s starting to get more frequent. I remember when my biggest problem in the early hours was an erection (no pun intended π) And definitely no pic.
Anyway, back to the plot. I have these massive rows or I am fighting for survival at work, it generally gets nasty, then the alarm goes off and none of it matters anymore. I mean, honestly, most of it is fabrication, my head makes it up while I’m asleep? Maybe I should just buy some Viagra π
That cracked me up.
Except the part of the bad dreams.

In this time of a general erection I think we’re all in the same voat. It is not a disaster to have a general erection in the small wee hours of union with our loved ones if we can just have the good sense to maintain our relationship.

Charlie, do you read Steve for the Deaf?
Heβs writing this multi chapter online book of sorts about coming of age in GB during what Iβm thinking is the mid to late 80βs.
It has a lot of his real life in it and itβs a fun read.

I think the dreams and darkness are all part of getting older. Over the last year or two I started to worry about going to bed because of it, but I’m getting over it. I’m told that the happiest time of our life is going to be from 65-75, though I don’t know how they work that out.

Haha neither do I, most of the people I know of that age spend a lot of time in Drs and hospitals being prodded and poked. My best time was 30-40 π

I remember passing a man last time I was in hospital. He was bemoaning the fact that he was over 80 and in the previous three days had shown his genitalia to more strange women than he had in the erst of his life. π
Better late than never…

It will break up the monotony between the checks for bed sores.
Ah, the attractions of old age…
